Who can participate?
All human powered boat types are welcome to take on this epic challenge. All craft must be sea worthy as the weather and the tide can be unpredictable.
What is the distance?
The Championship Course is 4 miles, 374 yards or 6.8 km long.
The route
The event is a mass start from Putney and will follow the traditional boat race route to Mortlake.
What time does the event start?
Exact start time to be announced - in line with tide rhythms ebb/flow.
Anticipated to be two and a half hours before high tide.
After the event
The winner will be announced and the celebrations shall take place in a local pub, which has been booked. Details on entry.
