Join Neath Port Talbot CVS and find out more about The King’s Award for Voluntary Service (KAVS). Equivalent to an MBE, KAVS is the highest Award given to local volunteer groups in the UK, and they are awarded for life.
The event will take place on Monday 20th October 2024, from 10.00am until 12.00pm at Neath Port Talbot CVS, Tŷ Margaret Thorne, 17-19 Alfred Street, Neath, SA11 1EF.
The purpose of the event will be to raise awareness of the Award and provide information about the support available to groups who wish to be nominated.
Please note that the nomination period is now open and will close on the 1st December 2025, with Awards officially announced on His Majesty The King’s Birthday on 14th November 2025.
