These brand new workshops from the hugly popular artrist Neal Vaughan, will focus on simple hacks and tips to help you create. They are broken down into the 6 materials and ways of working that make up many plein air artists reportuire.
The series can be joined as a set or as one off dip in workshops and a new feature will be an event page, exclusive to each workshop and to those that join in.
1 drawing and charcoal
We will look at a drawing of quick drawing techniques in the first hour of this session and then use those combined in the second half into one or two finished pieces.
2 pastels and colour
We will start, almost, from where the last lesson finished. We will use the same drawing techniques, but in colour. There will be discussions on how to use colour and the normal tips and hacks along the way.
3 paint, light and texture - CANCELLED
Paint is a media many of use use, but here we will use it in simple and quick sketches and biuild up to a final piece that uses a range of hacks and techniques to record light and texture.

5 collaging and reusing, mixed media and wreaking
In the fourth of the workshops we use things that have not gone swell and things we can improve, to explore collaging in a range of quick workshops.
6 final showcase
This is a popular final event, back by popular demand. Where we focus on one image to build up a range of smaller 'poses' to a final longer piece, with lots of reflection, tips, hacks, ideas and ways forward for us all to discuss.
