About this event

Ever looked at a tree and wondered what it was? Is it native or not? Is it broadleaf or conifer? Deciduous or non-deciduous? What kinds of life does it support in our Highland ecosystem?

Join Friends of Nevis for a tree ID walk and talk in Glen Nevis, ran by Friends of Nevis volunteer Alison Stewart. Bring a notebook and pen, and get ready to learn how to identify trees from their leaves, bark, and habitats.

This event will take place in Glen Nevis, but the exact location and meeting point will be announced in the coming weeks.

Sturdy/waterproof footwear is recommended. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note, attendance to the the event on the 20th of August is NOT a prerecquisite for attending this event, which is a repeat rather than a follow up. So while there will inevitably be slight differences in what we find, the events will be very similar.

Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded but feel free to arrange an exchange with someone else yourself.
