Our 19th year is a bold and uplifting celebration of courageous storytelling from around the world.with award-winning features, hard-hitting documentaries, light hearted dramedies, Animation, Experimental Shorts and though-provoking conversations atthe Rio, Cinema in Hackney, Genesis in Mile End , Coldharbour Blue in Brixton and other venues across London. This year's festival continues to shine a light on the untold and overlooked stories that shape our world and reflect God's heart for humanity.
Hunted by loan sharks to whom he owes a fortune, a compulsive gambler takes refuge in a garage. Determined to escape through a window, he missteps and crashes to the ground, hitting his head and loses consciousness. When he wakes up, he realizes he’s not alone—a voice inside him starts speaking. When the loan sharks intercept his daughter’s wedding invitation and threaten to crash the ceremony, the gambler realizes he has no choice: to protect her, he must turn himself in. With only a voice in his head as his guide, he must place one final, desperate bet—not just to save himself.
