25 years ago, Victoria Climbié was tragically murdered. Her devasting experiences and interactions with the people that were meant to care for her, including services and organisations, led to an inquiry which changed how we all safeguard children.

We explore why Victoria's inquiry is still so relevant today and consider the hidden gaps that remain in safeguarding knowledge and practice.

In this workshop, which has been adapted from our one-day workshop you will:

Revisit what happened to Victoria
Consider the recurring themes still relevant today
Increase your understanding of less well known themes, including Spiritual and Ritual Abuse (SARA) and Private Fostering.
