The Lead Reactive Dog
Sun 13 November 2016, 11:30 – 16:30 GMT
Does your dog lunge and bark at other dogs and people encountered on walks?
On lead reactivity is a common issue facing many dog owners. It can make walks stressful for both human and dog.
Our one day seminar will explore reasons why our dogs behave this way, and discuss ways you can help your dog overcome their reactive behaviour on walks.
Vicky will discuss:
- Why dogs react on lead.
- How on lead reactive behaviour can develop.
- How to prevent on lead reactivity.
- What not to do with the lead reactive dog.
- How to change lunging and barking on lead.
- Long term behaviour change.
- Emergency options for walks.
