Event description

Description

Got a stack of 'brilliant' business books you keep meaning to read - but can't seem to find the time?

Wish someone could read them for you, summarise the highlights and share top tips on applying the learning?

That's The Leader Lab.

The Leader Lab is an exciting new forum for business professionals to discuss the reality and challenge of being a leader, share insights and learning in an informal and confidential environment.

At every Leader Lab you will explore a 'Big Idea'. We pick a brilliant business book, take it apart and discuss how it can be used by you today. With lively discussion and practical exercises - you will be tapping into the rich and varied experiences of our members.

This workshop is based on a review of New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Daniel Pink's book 'Drive' - which explores motivation in the workplace.

And the surprise? People aren't motivated by money (not really). Come and find out why and what Dan Pink believes does motivate peope.

Think of it as a hands-on version of a leadership book club.

After 90 minutes, you'll walk away with a new tool in your armoury and real insight into what works and what doesn't. You'll also extend your network of peers; a valuable resource for leaders looking for a support system outside their own organisation.

The Leader Lab is run by Anna Sundt, Director of Creamer & Sundt
