Jamie McAnsh is a globally recognised motivational speaker, adaptive athlete, disabled adventurer and inclusion consultant. After waking up one morning in 2014 paralysed from the waist down due to a rare neurological condition (CRPS), Jamie was forced to rebuild his life from scratch. What followed was not just recovery, but reinvention.
From learning to move his toes to climbing to Everest Basecamp on crutches and later summitting Mount Kilimanjaro in leg braces, Jamie’s journey is one of grit, determination, and redefining possibility. He has represented Wales in wheelchair rugby, competed at national level in squash, and raised over £250,000 for charity through his relentless drive to give back.
Jamie now works with organisations and universities across the world to inspire action, encourage inclusive leadership, and challenge the limits we place on ourselves and others. He has shared the stage with global names like Derek Redman and was voted no. 9 in the Top UK motivational speakers 2025.
His talks fuse lived experience with practical tools, making him a powerful voice on resilience, neurodiversity, disability inclusion, and how to opportunity show every member of the audience that we are all capable of being the very best version of ourselves.
