The Learning Week is part of a three city tour. Here's what's on offer in Glasgow:
10am - 1pm Audiences Everywhere workshop:
Discover a “mind-opening, rut-clearing & possibility-renewing” strategy for audience development. Developed specifically for non-profit arts & cultural organisations, this profound and actionable workshop delivers insights and real-world examples designed to quickly get your organisation advancing compelling new strategies for attracting, returning, cultivating, and diversifying audiences in an environment where prospective customers have access to infinite information and abundant leisure-time options. Your organisation’s imperative for audience development is urgent - this workshop will to help you specify actions to achieve results immediately and dramatically.
1pm - 2pm Networking Lunch
We are delighted to invite you to a networking lunch in the Lighthouse. Full-day attendees will automatically be registered for the free lunch. If you are attending one workshop only, please book your free ticket to secure your place at the luncheon.
2pm - 5pm Opportunity Everywhere workshop:
Non-profit arts and cultural organisations are increasingly being told to “Be More Entrepreneurial”. In this workshop, we approach that as an "audience development" challenge - and look for ways to invigorate every possible connection between your organisation's relevance (i.e. artistic mission) and it’s revenue.
You’ll emerge with a clear 7-part framework to uncover the options and opportunities found on the “audience side” of your organisation’s mission statement. Expect to use this workshop to spark ideas for "creative disruption” for your organisation - and return with strategies to pursue even more artistically ambitious, audience-engaging and financially successful goals. No financial expertise is required.
Who Should Attend:
CEO’s/Executive/Managing Directors, Artistic Directors, Curators, Development & Marketing Professionals and Board Leaders from organisations large and small and from every arts and cultural genre. Attendance by management teams is highly encouraged as this workshop stimulates group planning. For fresh perspective, emerging leaders are especially encouraged to attend.
