Experience an Evening with Highgate Gospel Choir: The Legacy Project LIVE

Don't miss the chance to experience an uplifting performance by the esteemed Highgate Gospel Choir! Established in 1979, HGC has captivated audiences across the UK, gracing numerous churches and concerts with their presence. Known for their unique sound and remarkable ability to elevate the atmosphere, they’re back to bless us once more!

Highgate Gospel Choir, renowned for their debut album recorded in 1984 at Wandsworth Civic Hall, has returned with their latest release, The Legacy Project. This exciting new album debuted on all digital platforms on Friday, 7th March. It features classic HGC tracks all reimagined for contemporary audiences while preserving the authentic sound that defined the choir throughout the 1980s. The album is a profound reflection of the choir's growth and maturity, both vocally and spiritually, and is a significant addition to their storied history.

Now, you have an opportunity to see them live on Saturday, 1st November at Anchor Point.

This event bridges 40 years of musical history and personal passion, brought to life by Executive Producer Donavan Hepburn, the accomplished Drummer and Musical Director for Jeff Lynne’s ELO, James Bay, and Take That. Hepburn has reunited the original musicians and vocalists who contributed to the choir's distinctive sound and brought them all together on one stage again.

The first single from this reunion project, a reimagined version of the 1985 title track "How Good is the Lord," was released on November 3, 2023. Following this, HGC performed alongside Tony Christie at the Lambeth Palace Library during the Together Coalition’s End of Year Celebration for the Archbishop of Canterbury, with their performance featured on BBC Breakfast.

The Legacy Project LIVE celebrates individuals whose harmonies have forged enduring connections and made a significant global impact. As they present their reimagined album, the show will take you on a journey through their rich history, interlaced with deeply connected memories, profound affection for one another, and, most importantly, their devotion to Jesus Christ.

Come and be part of an unforgettable event, where you'll have the chance to meet some of the most influential creatives of their generation. Secure your tickets early—this is an experience you absolutely won’t want to miss!
