Throughout 2022, Southampton Science Park and Blake Morgan bring you The Legal Landscape, an event series covering the whole business journey from pre-revenue to investment and, ultimately, to a successful exit from the all-important legal perspective.

About this event

This event will focus on how to leverage value from intellectual property and from research and development activity.

Relevant to both new and established businesses, it aims to help business leaders build a stable corporate base from which to grow and one that gives more certainty to all current and future stakeholders including employees, customers and investors.

Topics will include:

- How to identify and build a portfolio of patentable innovations.

- The process, costs and timescales of patent applications.

- Research and development investment and tax strategies.

- The Government’s tax efficient Patent Box scheme.
