About this event

Join us for a panel celebrating the brand-new album from Taylor Swift, The Life of a Showgirl! Authors and pop culture experts Kat McKenna, Satu Hämeenaho-Fox and Caroline Sullivan discuss the impact of storytelling throughout Swift's music, including The Life Of A Showgirl - alongside fandom, celebrities, and songwriting as a whole.

We encourage attendees to come dressed in their finest glittery outfits, and we'll be celebrating with themed cocktails and mocktails as well as playing the new album!

The panel will be chaired by beloved content creator and Swiftie, Dan Cashio.

Satu Hämeenaho-Fox is a Fearless-era Swiftie and author of books about culture including Into The Taylorverse. She has written books about many people whose artistry and/or clothes she likes, including Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Zendaya and Lady Gaga. She has also written children’s books on art and fashion history for New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. She is the co-founder of the Swiftian Theory newsletter.

Caroline Sullivan is a pop- and rock-focused music journalist and broadcaster who has written for the Guardian, the Times, Vogue and Cosmopolitan. She is the author of four books: Taylor Swift: Era by Era, Madonna: Album by Album, Ed Sheeran: Writing Out Loudand Adele: The Other Side. She lives in Brighton.

Kat McKenna is a pop culture expert, marketer and author. Her first book, Look What You Made Me Do, is a non-fiction ode to fandom. She has been an enthusiast of popular culture, social media and content consumption since as long as she can remember, and has worked in the publishing industry for over 15 years. She runs her own marketing business, and lives in London with her two cats, Ruby and Taylor.
