The Light Groups part of the Homeless Pastors CIC are delivered in a discussion group format, with a mix of well-being / recovery and faith discussion topics. Each week we tackle life issues covering forgiveness, self pity, obedience, love, hope, kindness, serving others and community.
The intention is to help people to re-build their foundations and live a life of freedom. Not just from addiction but the challenges they have faced throughout their lives.
All light group attendees are in encouraged to engage in recovery/ 12 step groups in the local area.
Together we want to grow as a community and start to impact the wider community through kind deeds and social action.
The Light Group participants also have an opportunity to volunteer for the Homeless pastors CIC, which runs a regular outreach into Calderdale, supporting the homeless away from sleeping rough to supported accommodation. Www.thehomelesspastors.org
