Event description

Description

Join us for four days this Summer, as we take a fresh look at the
fascinating regions, of India and South Korea and everything else inbetween, through the voice, and heart, of its people.

It is a festival that asks questions. How do we translate the Indian
experience? How do we find the soul of Seoul? And what unites us, not
divides us? We’ll be exploring these questions alongside established and emerging writers, translators, thinkers and academics, musicians and dancers. In this cross-cultural conversation, we will have dance performances from the likes of Poet & Dancer Tishani Doshi, special K POP performances. The Jaipur Literary Festival will guest curate the Sunday program and a curation by the Bhavan Centre and much more.

Confirmed contributors and speakers at the festival include Suki Kim (The Interpreter), Krys Lee (How I Became a North Korean), Tishani Doshi (Countries of the Body), Bae Suah (Recitation), Sadaf Saaz (Sari Reams), Sangeeta Bandyopadhyay (Abandon), Anjali Joseph (The Living), Mary Lynn Bracht (White Chrysantheum) and many more.

If
you write, we also welcome you to join us for our Masterclasses, where you can pick up ‘tricks of
the trade’ to help you hone the craft of writing.

Come join us
to create something special and unique.
