Overview

The Little Robot and the Mars Mystery: a virtual storytelling session for primary school aged children

How can we look for life on other planets, explore strange planetary surfaces and test robots for space by going deep below the Earth’s surface?

In this storytelling virtual workshop you will join a little robot beginning a journey to Mars and learn more about space research that takes place at the Boulby Underground Laboratory, 1.1 km below ground.

The session will contain a story reading, time for questions and answers, and some suggestions for extra activities for children to do at school or at home.

The storytelling session is suitable for children in primary school and will last for around 60 minutes. It will take place via Zoom - we will send details of how to join to all those who register.
