Music made by a furry, hill-dwelling Yorkshire creature:
The Little Unsaid
Recent winner of the Steve Reid InNOVAtion Award The Little Unsaid has gained a reputation throughout two years of intensive touring for leaving audiences wide-eyed and emotionally rapt, with a live show described as 'a thumping depth of passion, recalling the intensity and melancholic overtones of Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen.’ Led by Yorkshire-born songwriter and multi-instrumentalist John Elliott, the band recently completed their much anticipated fourth album with Radiohead engineer Graeme Stewart, to be released on Carbon Moon Records this Spring. The ten deeply personal songs that make up Imagined Hymns & Chaingang Mantras celebrate the reawakening of the imagination after a traumatic crisis, seeing the band refining their cinematic blend of alt-folk, electronica, string orchestration and Elliott’s haunting, androgynous vocals. This special, intimate solo performance will see John previewing new material from the forthcoming album.
