Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

A relaxed afternoon that open to everyone to join in the discussion about the role that creativity plays throughout our lives, and the impact it can have on the places we live in. Ages and Stages Theatre Company, based at the New Vic Theatre, will help explore the emerging themes with the audience.

If you are working in culture, health, the arts, gerontology or sociology, you will be interested to learn more about the growing body of local and national research and activities which explore the importance of creative ageing.

Chaired by Prof. David Amigoni, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research & Enterprise), Keele University, with Dr Lesley Mountford, Director of Public Health for Stoke on Trent; Claire Benjamin, Deputy Director, Education and Visitors, National Museums Liverpool; and Deborah McAndrew, Playwright and Creative Director of Claybody Theatre.
