The London Latvian Choir celebrates 70 years of singing with a special concert telling the story of the Choir’s history. This concert will celebrate the centenary of the Choir’s founder, composer Alberts Jērums, and will explore the great Latvian choral tradition through beautiful folksong arrangements, songs performed by the Choir at numerous Latvian Song Festivals throughout the years as well as music from the rock opera ‘Lāčplēsis’. With our special guests, the Choir of the Latvian Society of Ireland ‘eLVē’ from Dublin.

Tickets £10

£7 for under 16s, senior citizens and students

Pre-concert talk from 6-6.45pm (Included in the price of your ticket)

A pre-concert talk (in Latvian) on Alberts Jērums, composer and founder of the London Latvian Choir, by his two daughters, Inga Jēruma and Jāna Jēruma-Grīnberga.
