Focus LDN is returning for another groundbreaking exhibition this autumn. Set in the prestigious Strand Gallery in Charing Cross.The Londoner’s Compass explores the voices resonating within our city in an artistic investigation of our urban environment and social narrative. The Londoner’s Compass offers an insight into the home of over 8.6 million people.
Despite being part of the UK and its capital city, London and its inhabitants have forged a unique identity. The myriad of cultures working together within an urban landscape so steeped in history has influenced a rich social fabric. As our city continues to evolve at an unprecedented rate, we consider how the arts are responding to the social and physical changes of London in 2016.
Focus has selected artists over the lat six months to participate in this significant show. From the most complex representational artworks to the most dynamic styles of abstraction, The Londoner's Compass will showcase the finest contemporary paintings, drawings, sculpture and photography.
