Event Details

Amongst Cumbria’s most beautiful natural reserves and scenic landscapes, take on our kayaking challenge along the largest lake in England- Lake Windermere.

This unique challenge will test your endurance as you paddle the 11 mile long course. You will have a choice of taking a rough zig-zagged path, or can take a smooth and easier route if that’s what you prefer.

If you are a novice or even can’t swim, don’t worry! With our specialist training, qualified instructors and state-of-the-art equipment, anyone can participate in this challenge!

 

Registration Fee: £35

Fundraising Target: £200

 

Brief Itinerary

Coaches will leave from London Orphans in Need Whitechapel office at 1am on Saturday 27th September to reach Windermere for 8am.

You will be met by our specialist instructors who will provide you with kayaking information and equipment.

Kayaking challenge will last from 9am-5pm with breaks and lunch stops for a wood-oven pizza! 

We will depart from Windermere at 5pm to return to London for 1am.
