Join me for an atmospheric evening stroll through the historic streets of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter as we go in search of its long-lost pubs. From The Pelican to The Vampire, The Gothic to The Engin, we’ll uncover the stories behind the pubs that vanished—but left behind traces of life, laughter, and a few tall tales.

As we explore, we’ll also delve into the lives of the people who worked in the factories, lived in the back-to-backs, and propped up the bars—their stories are etched into the very fabric of the Quarter.

We start and finish at one of the city’s oldest surviving pubs, the Jewellers Arms, where the history is as rich as the ale.
