The LUNA Project is a charity that seeks to support and raise awareness of young people with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and long-term health conditions. We want to empower young people with disabilities to talk to their friends and peers about their disability and the ways their friends could support them, and to equip able-bodied young people with the tools to support their peers and friends with disabilities.
On the 31st December 12:00-12:30 we will be holding a Q and A over Zoom on LUNA- Talking about who we are and what we do. We would love for you to join us!
At the end of this event (12:30), our happy holidays raffle will be drawn! Our happy holidays raffle has some pretty wonderful prizes- including two books written by Disabled authors (a huge thank you to Arkbound Publishing for these), and some festive food treats, such as some delicious brownies from the wonderful Kenzie's Cakes, and amazing jewelry (thanks to Kzabi Jewelry!) More prizes will be revealed as we go!)
More than a chance to win one of these lovely prizes, taking part in this raffle helps support what we are doing! This is our first bit of fundraising, as we have current costs (like keeping our website and all the wonderful resources on it live!), and there are things we would love to do (like being able to thank all the incredible people who share their lived experience as part of projects, hosting events, distributing resources, and so, so much more)
Each ticket to out live zoom Q and A event gives you one entry into the raffle! Tickets cost £2 each, and you can enter as many times as you would like! The winners will be drawn at random on the 31st December at 12:30 at the end of our live event! Good luck and thank you for supporting us in the work that we do!
