Teachers and STEM Ambassadors are invited to this Maths-themed STEMNetworking Event. The after school meeting will bring together STEM Ambassadors who use maths in their work* and teachers who want to highlight the importance of maths and its applications. The event is ideal for anyone who has been faced with the question: Maths, what's the point in that?
4.00-4.30pm will be a chance to explore resources and network, so please arrive anytime during this time period. At 4.30pm we will hear some case studies and success stories from teachers and Ambassadors. We will also be planning in-school/out of school enrichment activities for the next academic year.
And there will, of course, be plenty of tea/coffee and cakes!
*E.g. In Aerospace Engineering, Science research data handling, Computer programming/coding, Supply chain, planning and packaging, Statistics...

STEM Ambassadors are people from industry and research who offer their time voluntarily to enthuse and inspire students within schools about STEM subjects.
