The “MAGIC FOUNTAIN” a World Known Barcelona’s Icon

Let me show you the spectacular Sound-and-Light Show of the Magic Fountain in which the colossal waterjets dance and change colors according to the music being played. This unique beauty -which we, the “locals”, must take our friends to see when visiting-, was built as the main attraction for 1929 Barcelona´s World Exposition, and shown again to the World in the 1992 Summer Olympics. Around 2,600 liters (almost 690 gallons) of water per second, flow through the fountain's concentric pools, to reach incredible heights, shapes, colors and textures for an unforgettable experience!
