Quiz to Give II

Nine days before Christmas. Office parties cancelled, streets empty, even the carol singers have gone virtual. Here's an opportunity to share an evening with your friends, feel seasonal and have fun helping the five Mayor's Charities.

Wear a silly Santa hat, bring some mistletoe and have a hilarious festive night book tickets at just £5 each to reserve a place for you or your team on Wednesday 16th December 2020 7-8.30pm. A unique link to the YouTube stream will be emailed after payment.

The Quiz will be hosted by Roy Stannard of Off The Fence Trust and will consist of 50 questions with a humorous seasonal flavour. There will two 30 minute sessions with an interval.

The prize will be a rare signed photograph of the Mayor himself, Cllr Alan Robins and the chance to call yourself the Yuletide brain of Brighton.

The benefitting charities

• Off The Fence operates three projects:
• Antifreeze emergency outreach to rough sleepers
• Schools programme for 6-18 year olds
• Gateway Women’s Centre supporting women in crisis.
• The Sussex Heart Charity is an independent local charity that supports heart patients across Sussex.
• Leo House at Home funds specific Leo House nurses, who care for life limited children in Sussex.
• Brighton Fringe - the largest open-access arts festival in England
• Together Co - a loneliness charity that’s creating connections to change lives.

Please tell all your family, friends and colleagues, play individually or in groups. In the absence of live 'real' events this year, this is our way of supporting five great charities and making this Christmas one to remember - for the right reasons..
