The Media Hub's Introductory Workshop to LinkedIn with Tony Thornby
Fri 21 October 2016, 11:00 – 12:00 BST
Being Found and Making a Good Impression with UK Digital Marketing Engineer Tony Thornby
Nowadays, what people find out about you online is more powerful than offline. The web has been called "word of mouth on steroids" because someone's online reaction to your content can reach hundreds or thousands, while their offline reaction often reaches 10 if you're lucky. On the flip side, not being prominent online can be damaging to professional careers and business. In addition, if what people find online is negative, it can damage your reputation. Unfortunately, you are what you are perceived to be. It is therefore crucial that you proactively use social networking to build and maintain reputation and relationships.
COFFEE 10.30am–11am Coffee and catch-up with other Media Hub members.
