Event Information
About this event
Dealing with the Donald
Donald Trump turned American politics on its head. He left the media bemused about what to do about a President who constantly lied. Jon Sopel, then the BBC’s North America editor, was at the forefront of this battle. In this exclusive Media Society event Jon talks about his experiences of covering the tumultuous politics of the White House. What lessons do we need to learn for next time when Trump may again be the candidate?
Join us for what promises to be a fascinating evening with Jon Sopel in conversation with the journalist and broadcaster Phil Harding.
