Trevor Phillips was a pioneer on London Weekend Television 30 years ago where he produced and presented of Channel 4’s 'Black on Black'.
He is the former chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, previously called the Commission for Racial Equality. Today, he is President of the John Lewis Partnership – the UK’s third largest private company including John Lewis department stores and Waitrose supermarkets.
