Event description

Description

Eddie Mair's special style of broadcasting has brought him many awards and got him into a few rows.

His mix of forensic interviewing and serious journalism leavened with a wry wit has made the afternoon programme on Radio Four a must-listen show for its audiences.

His run-ins with Boris Johnson (remember "You’re a nasty piece of work"? What about: "This isn’t a Two Ronnies sketch"?) have made the headlines, as have his spats with Robert Peston.

He also presented the famous Newsnight programme the day it had gone into meltdown over its coverage of child abuse allegations.

Tonight, fresh from the PM studio, Eddie Mair drops in to talk to journalist and broadcast Phil Harding in another of our 'in conversation' series.

Tickets and Timings: Please arrive at 8.00pm for an 8.15pm start. Tickets are £20 for non-members and guests, £10 for Media Society Members, and £5 for students with a valid ID.
