Event description

Description

Krishnan Guru-Murthy is one of the main anchors of the award-winning Channel 4 News. His outspoken style of interviewing has often brought him into sharp conflict with his subjects.

The actor Robert Downey Jr and the director Quentin Tarantino have walked out on him during interviews. Downey Jr called him a "bottom-feeding muckraker". Recently Krishnan memorably clashed with Brexit Secretary David Davis after accusing Theresa May of lying.

Krishnan also presents and reports for Unreported World for Channel 4. This has seen him embed with an Iraqi bomb squad and travel to South Africa to examine lingering and ongoing social problems post-apartheid.

Tonight one of the best known and most distinctive voices in British broadcasting talks to journalist and broadcaster, Phil Harding, about interviewing, lying politicians, angry film stars - and coping with Jon Snow.
