The MEMORY DEALER
Description
The MEMORY DEALER is a play that takes place in several places across the city starting at the Watershed. It is a form of interactive theatre where the audience becomes part of the story.
Performances are on 24, 25 and 26th MAY 2013 as part of Mayfest. Each experience will last about two hours. A fully charged smartphone and headphones are required. If you have not got a device there will be ONE available per show and you can select this option when you are buying your ticket.
The story is set in a world where mobile phones can record and replay memories and there is an illegal subculture of memory exchange. You are going to the cinema with Eve Rust, an old friend. Last you heard, she was wanted by the Digital Investigations Command for memory crimes. Then she called you out of the blue and asked to meet you. You’re looking forward to seeing her again.
