The Mental Couch To 5K
Overview
You may already be familiar with a couch to 5k course. Its a gradual build up from running for 1 minute to being able to cover 5km of gentle running. As many of us recognise the positive impact of exercise on our bodies and minds we set ourselves goals and make effort to move towards them. Have you ever tried and found that getting started or continuing in the dark and cold of winter gets too much. Thoughts and feelings of being not good enough or what's the point kick in and its really hard to move forward. The mental couch to 5k will support you with a structured program designed to help you overcome the mental barriers that get in your way. Through a mix of psychology, meditation and values based goal setting you will give yourself the best chance of reaching your goals.
