Description

The Micah Lecture 2017: “More justice in the world - impact, thrive and buzz.”

Join us for the Micah Lecture on Monday 5th June in the Lady Chapel, Liverpool Cathedral.

This year’s Micah Lecture is your opportunity to hear Bishop Paul talk about how he sees our Diocese deepening its engagement in social justice concerns.

Formerly known as the Urban Lecture and based on the verse from Micah 6.8, “God has shown you what is good…and what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with your God;” the annual Micah Lectures will build on the foundations of exploring social justice and urban ministry.

In the first of the Micah Lectures - ‘more justice in the world - impact, thrive and buzz’; Bishop Paul will explore how, we as Christians in the community, are called to change the world for the better and make a bigger difference. This will inspire us to think about the impact of the generosity of our service in Christ, how this creates thriving attractive communities that buzz with life.
