Following on from the success of MCAV's inaugural event in June, we are delighted to be hosting the MCAV dinner at Icentrum showcasing key companies, projects and figures from the driverless vehicle sector.


The Future of Transport for Cities: Cars to PODs

KPMG research indicates that the Connected Autonomous Vehicles market has the potential to add £51 billion per year to the UK economy by 2030, create 320,000 new jobs and prevent 25,000 accidents saving 2500 lives per year.

We will be sharing with you the latest news and innovation from the world of AI & Driverless vehicles and MCAV exciting programme of events over the next 12 months and how we plan to develop the tech corridor between Birmingham and Cambridge.

Beverley, having recently stood as Liberal Democrat Mayoral candidate in the West Midlands is passionate about transport and connectivity as well as bringing people, businesses and products together to create opportunity for all through building better futures.  A Director at Birmingham City University, she is well positioned to host a lively dinner, gaining key insights into what the future holds for transport in the region. Read more

Abhi Naha is the Chief Commercial Officer of CW (Cambridge Wireless) a not for profit technology membership organisation which includes Intel, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, ARM, Jaguar Land Rover, Vodafone, BT and Astra Zeneca as part of their 430 plus members and high growth scale ups such as DarkTrace, Five AI, GeoSpock and Conigital. He was the CEO and Founder of Zone V a Cambridge startup backed by Qualcomm and ARM focused on empowering people with aging eyes and visually impaired through inclusively designed smartphones.He held senior management roles at Powermat and Silicon Valley mobile touchscreen technology provider, Synaptics and advisory roles for Goldman Sachs and Silver Lake in the area of mobile user interface technologies and is passionate about technology that helps society.
