Event Details

2014 marks the 30th anniversary of the Great Miners’ Strike of 1984-85, one of the most inspiring displays of militancy the British labour movement has ever seen.

Former miner John Dunn, of the Justice for Mineworkers campaign will be analysing the events of the Miners’ Strike and drawing out the lessons for the labour movement today.

This talk is part of the Coal exhibition by Nicholas Baldion.

  • Please note event attendees must arrive at least ten minutes before the start time of the event, otherwise their booked space will be given to someone on the reserve list.
  • Please contact the museum as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your reservation so your place can be given to another visitor.
