The Mirror is the most intimate of Tarkovsky's works. Hauntingly beautiful, it explores the power of cinema as a unique medium that can connect senses, play with memory and perception, and take the audience on a journey backwards and forwards in time. The semi-autobiographical film features verses by the director's father, poet Arseniy Tarkovsky. The much-loved actor Oleg Yankovsky and his son Filipp star as father and son.
