Chutney makes for the perfect gift for Christmas and now is the month to start making. In this class you will learn to make the most out of the Autumnal haul- before winter sets in and seasonal produce is slim pickings.
Your host Kylee Newton, owner of Newton&Pott and author of The Modern Preserver, will take you through the process of using up fruit and vegetables that might otherwise go to waste and giving your food longevity.
This class will talk about the importance of preserving food and good sterilization practice for long lasting preserves, at the same time using up what would otherwise go to waste.
The class is a relaxed hands-on session teaching you how to make artisanal treats which you get to take for your own larder or to gift to friends- it’s designed to give you the confidence in your own kitchen so you can start preserving at home.
