Do I have to get there bang on 7am?

Accepted Answer

No you don't.  However, although we don't sit down until 7:30am you'll be missing out on some vital connections if you can't  make it until after 7am but nobody will tell you off or look down on you.  You're an adult so I'm not going to tell you what to do.

Do I have to stay until 9:30am

Accepted Answer

No you don't.  At the beginning of the meeting i ask everybody if they need to leave early and I do this so I can make sure everybody gets to speak before they go.  We all have lots going on in our lives so sometimes we need to leave early.

Do i have to prepare an elevator pitch?

Accepted Answer

No you don't.  This meeting is about sharing knowledge and experience rather than blatant  sales pitches.  You can say as much or as little as you like.  Nobody will be timing you.

Is there a lockout with only one person from each trade or profession

Accepted Answer

No, absolutely not.  Everybody is welcome.  You may meet people in the same trade or profession but we've found that it's usually a good thing

What's the dress code?

There isn't one so please wear whatever you feel comfortable in.  I often say, wear whatever you'd normally wear when meeting a new customer face to face.

About 25 but it varies between 20 and 30

No, absolutely not.  You can come as often as you  like on a pay as you go basis.  There are no limits.  Joining just costs you less and adds some benefits for free.
