The Muir Hub and Local Tourism
Tue 25 April 2017, 13:30 – 15:30 BST
The Muir Hub, in Muir of Ord, would like to invite you, as a local tourism-related business, to come and find out about our wonderful new community facility.
The old school in the village square has been renovated into a vibrant community hub, with Artysans Cafe serving delicious cooking and baking. We'll show you round, offer you refreshments and tell you about the wide range of activities happening over the coming months. And we would especially like to hear from you about what your guests are looking for – Scottish music and films? Information about the area? General tourism information eg about the North Coast 500? Local arts and crafts to buy?
You'll also have the chance to hear from wildlife expert Charlie Phillips, whom many of you will of course know. In our wonderful new cinema he'll be showing some of his stunning film and images of local wildlife including the famous bottlenose dolphins. On sale will be copies of his award-winning book 'On a Rising Tide' – pick up one to inspire your guests!
