Registration & Buffet: 18:00

Presentation: 18:30 – 20:00

About the Speaker:

Anth Quinn from Inspiring Alliance has over 30 years industrial experience and has been coaching professionally since 2004. He built a global coaching practice alongside his day to day role as a Chemist Team Leader for ICI before setting up Inspiring Alliance. He is a certified performance & i3 REAL Profiling Coach, as well as a Master Practitioner and Trainer of NLP, specialising in helping leaders and teams bring out the best in each other. Anth is passionate and is committed to opening clear, respectful communication across the hierarchies and specialisms in organisations, because he believes, by connecting the best in each person, everyone wins.

About the Event:

You will leave this practical session with some simple questions which will allow you to easily reduce resistance, while immediately improving the impact of your communication and deepening relationships at work and home.

Everyone has their own subjective way of making sense of the world. We tend to like people who think like us, and value the same things we do. Paradoxically, our best team partners will usually have very different ways of seeing the world. This means we may not feel we click with them at first. All too often we miscommunicate, and mind read their intentions. The potential for stress and conflict is self-evident, and all too common.

The most common mistake in communication is thinking that other people think like you, and expecting them to be motivated in the same way you motivate yourself.

In this session, Anth will reveal to you some of your own motivation triggers, and how you can conversationally pick these up and apply them when communicating with others. Whether it’s winning support from senior management, diffusing grievances, or helping managers to bring the best out of their people, these questions will make it easier.
