Event description

Description

2 Day Workshop | £295 | By using the pay by invoice option we are able to take payment in 2 instalments of £147.50. The first is payable within 7 days of booking and the balance 14 days prior to the event.

Francesca Maffeo Gallery is delighted to host 'The Narrative Landscape' a two day workshop with Tim Richmond & Cheryl Newman.

“Places, like people, can seem alone, filled with melancholy”. (TR - Last Best Hiding Place)

This workshop will focus on how landscapes can assume a lead character, creating stories real, or imagined. By looking at the diversity of landscape practice, we see the ability of landscapers to reveal narrative threads. Part of the role as a photographer, is to give the ordinary its rightful attention.

Each day is a balance of discussions, critiques, editing the work and dedicated shooting time.

Partipants are required to bring their own camera equipment - full details will be provided closer to the event date.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided for this event (please indicate any dietry requirements you may have).
