The Natural World Baby Sensory Class - free

Join us for a fun and interactive baby sensory class where we explore the wonders of the natural world! This in-person event will take place at the Earth Moves site outdoors, in beautiful natural surroundings. Our experienced instructors will guide you and your little ones through sensory activities that stimulate their senses and promote early years development.

During the class, babies will have the opportunity to engage with various textures, colors, and sounds inspired by nature. They will be introduced to different natural elements, fostering their curiosity and love for the world around them.

Our classes provide a safe and nurturing environment for babies to explore and learn. So, come along and let your little ones discover the wonders of the natural world!

Suitable for 0-2 years.

Free, funded by the Earnest Cook Trust. Please ensure you wear suitable shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty! Children must be accompanied at all times as this is a working site and there is open water in the form of a pond.

What to bring

Make sure your baby is dressed in the right clothing for the weather, you may also want to being along a blanket or yoga mat if you do not wish your child to be on the ground. The session will last a total of 35 minutes as to not over stimulate the babies, however you are welcome to stay the full hour after the session and have a free tea or coffee and speak to other attendees.

Access

We are a family friendly project. There are accesible paths for prams, however you might want to consider baby wearing as some areas of the site are only accesible by gravel or grass paths. You are welcome to breastfeed.

Children must be supervised at all times, as some areas of the site are left to re-wild and surfaces in this area maybe uneven and have stinging nettles.
