The Nature of Building: Biodiversity & the Built Environment

By CIOB London

Overview

Join CIOB London Tomorrow's Leaders as we look at how construction can coexist with ecosystems and promote biodiversity.

This face to face event will host a exciting panel of speakers within the field of sustainability in construction.

The evening will explore the following keypoints:

  • Presentation on Biodiversity Net Gain – Lessons learnt from the first 2 years of implementation and overview on the planning to the infrastructure bill presented by Lesley Wilson and Chris Moss.

  • Case study on how retailers and distributors of building/construction materials are responding to biodiversity and how we all can advocate a more sustainable future for construction presented by Sabrina Passley and Richard Burns.

  • Panel discussion with all the speakers from the evening to go through a Q&A on the key issues and priorities when it comes to nature and the built environment.

Why not join us for this CPD? Get inspired, see how construction can promote biodiversity also, a great chance to connect and learn.
