The New CBS Conference 2017 is here
Sat, 23 Sep 2017, 09:30 – Sun, 24 Sep 2017, 17:30 BST
The CBS team UK and Europe welcome you to our first CBS Conference.
Previous Bowen Conferences in 2010 and 2015 were organised by ECBS instructors, although not as a specific ECBS event. The CBS Conference 2017 has so much more to show you and exciting news and information to share with you!
The two-day event will encompass lectures each morning, including keynote presentations from Paula Esson, Jo Abbott, Dr David Laird and Dr Hayley Derricott, together with the latest news from CBS and affiliated partners, latest Bowen research findings, and much more....
Some of the main details are below, but to keep up to date with the latest news and offerings, visit the CBS Conference.
The afternoons will be spent in workshops:
There will be an extensive programme of 12 different workshops from which to glean the latest information, research and developments.
Workshops are led by:
Jo Abbott, Dr David Laird, Julian Baker, Paula Esson, Michael Morris, Sylvia Wilkinson, Jo Wortley, Gus de la Querra and Pete Wortley, plus a couple of guests we would like to keep as a surprise!
Conference speakers are:
Dr. David Laird:

Delegates will receive an attendance certificate from CBS so that they can claim CPD hours for attending.
There will be a dinner and Awards evening on the Saturday night, together with live entertainment!
Conference fee only £225 (usual workshop fee), this includes all the lectures, workshops, lunch and refreshments on both days.
Early Bird offer £200 if booked and paid for before March 31st.
Dinner and Awards:
£40 for three-course meal, with Awards ceremony and live entertainment (and of course dietary requirements will be catered for).
We would recommend the Nottingham Belfry Hotel, subject to availability of course; bookings should be made directly with the hotel. There are also other places to stay nearby and we suggest using www.laterooms.com or www.booking.com as generic accommodation search engines.
The exact timetable, workshop listings and menu for the dinner will be made available nearer the time.
Although this is a CBS Conference, we welcome everyone, as we always have, from other Bowen Schools and teaching establishments. CBS is building on the foundation of 25 years as a Bowen Training provider, and is constantly striving to push Bowen to the next level in all areas. It's now time for us to share with you exactly what we have done and where we are heading - and hopefully you will join us on our journey!
The Awards is a CBS first, and aims to recognise the great work you are doing out there in the community. More information regarding the award categories and how to enter or nominate someone will be announced on the website shortly.
The event is being organised by the CBS teaching staff and administrators, but if you have any specific questions, please contact Michael Morris directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
