This lunchtime learning session examines what the GDPR and the Data Protection Bill mean for professional services, in particular for knowledge management.
Learn what is different from the existing regime, what you need to do about older precedents and database information and how to equip your organisation for the new regime in force from May 2017
The session will include how to deal with requests for information and also how delegate lists and client info may or may not be used for marketing

Rachel Mulligan is a qualified solicitor (UK & Ire) and holds the globally recognised IAPP Privacy qualifications; CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM. Responsible for managing global data privacy projects and training programmes at a senior management level for various multi-national corporations and Ftse 100 clients
Claire contributes her practical expertise as an employment solicitor with a special interest in data protection. She was formally Head of Employment Policy and Freelance Legal Affairs at the BBC before moving to head up Emplaw Online, which provides specialist know-how for employment lawyers.
