With Covid-19 lockdown measures in place, you may be thinking about how you can continue to keep your doors open to safely support your service users - or how you might do so once it ends.
Find out how to adapt your organisation to the 'new normal', at this online session which has been specially tailored to the needs of small small voluntary organisations.
With the latest Lockdown, we now have new Government guidance for how voluntary organisations can open their doors, and the session will incorporate this.
The first half of the session will provide information on your Health and Safety responsibilities as a voluntary sector employer, in the context of Covid 19, including the risk assessment approach towards working in different environments such as offices, community facilities, face to face working and personal risk amongst others.
The second half will be devoted to questions and answers with an opportunity for participants to engage with the trainer on all of these issues and any others that may arise.
Outline of the session:
• Understanding your legal responsibilities in health and safety to achieve compliance
• Covid 19 safety legal requirements and advice
• Key safety issues facing charities and voluntary organisations during the pandemic
• Methodology and the risk assessment approach
• Your way forward to achieve compliance.
