Description

Start: 09:55 at the bus shelter in Low Bradfield (SK 262 919)

Finishes at: Fox House

Travel: Meet leaders at stop AG8 on Arundel Gate (behind the Lyceum Theatre) at 09:15 to catch 61 bus at 09:20. The group will return by bus from Fox House. This is a linear walk not suitable for cars.

Description: The 192-mile Peak District Boundary Walk was officially opened on 17 June this year. This long challenging walk includes the whole of section 9 and about half of section 10 before diverting to Fox House for the bus back to Sheffield. We start along a reservoir side, across fields, moorland, follow streams up cloughs and along ancient roads

Terrain: tracks, lanes and natural paths with 2,800 feet of height gain in short bursts

Led by: Judy Gathercole from Sheffield Ramblers and Julie Gough from Friends of the Peak District

Difficulty: 4=Strenuous
