The Employment Rights Bill which introduces significant reforms to employment law in England, Wales, and Scotland is due to receive Royal Assent this autumn and will be introduced in 4 phases between now and 2027.
Similar reforms have been set out by the Minister for the Economy in Northern Ireland in her April 2025 ‘Good Jobs’ Employment Rights proposals. These are operating to a different timetable having not yet been presented to the Assembly as a Bill, but they may be implemented over a transitional period between 2027 and 2031.
Join our director, Joanne Kane, as she shares her insights on these changes, in conversation with Shauna Devlin.
The webinar looks at:
- What the proposals are in each jurisdiction;
- When they might take effect and how they will be implemented;
- What the implications are for employers and what employers should be doing now to prepare;
- A comparison of what has been proposed across the two jurisdictions in a number of the key areas; and
- The resources that HeadsTogether has to give you further help and support.
Who is it for?
