Course Leader Shobana Iyer (Barrister FCIArb)

Shobana Iyer is a commercial barrister (with over 15 years of PQE) based in London with an advisory and dispute resolution practice (litigation and arbitration) primarily focused on chancery and commercial law particularly dealing with intellectual property (IP) and corporate issues in the Technology Media Telecom (TMT), Investment, and Arts & Creative Sectors. Shobana’s practice covers company and corporate law (from general contractual, tort and fiduciary claims to statutory requirements: breach of director's duties, director disqualification proceedings, misuse of confidential information by directors/employees, share sale agreements, shareholder disputes, joint ventures, franchise agreements, licensing and M&As etc) including claims involving IP, TMT, data protection, insurance and finance issues.
